I've been playing with a multifilament lately in the cooler temperature at night. I notice that it is pretty stiff during the first 15 minutes or so. I'm thinking about doing a poly hybrid, but I'm afraid it will be even stiffer later in the Fall/Winter. Do you think Poly is too stiff to use during the colder weather?

It's really up the the player. It will feel harsh and you will definitly have no feel on the ball. I usually cross it with gut or even syn gut since you wont hit as much as you did in the summer. Or, you can use syn. gut. all around. After being used to poly in the summer, switching to syn. gut in the winter will be just as good.
