Gosen sheep 16, either full job or on the crosses with a poly

What don't you like about the NXT you use now, though...

Try using the enduro pro for the mains and sensation for the crosses, or Tecnifibre Multi Feel for the crosses.

im not for sure yet, i just got the six-one from a friend. the nxt on it feels good and all but heard it loses tension quickly. im not for sure if i play very often enough where it would lose tension that fast. and i was just asking for a 16 gauge string because i have some 17 gauge OGSM and i don't like how it plays. im just so used to 16 gauge strings and was wondering which would be good for the six-one. ill probably try gosen once the strings break because they are fraying like crazy right now and seem they will break withing a couple days. but the only problem is that gosen strings are offered at local sports stores and the only tennis shop near me i am not for sure about. maybe some extreme synthetic gut by wilson?

P.S. what tension should i string it at? 55 lbs seems a little low for me on other racquets. i have my flexpoint strung at 58 and its a little low. maybe 60? would that be a little too stiff and cause any problems?

Right now I'm using Sheep 17g at 55/59. Used to have Megaforce 18 in the mains but decided that I liked the feel of syngut a bit better, especially since I'm not playing many matches these days.

For most feel and optimum playability with maximum crispness and feel and control; use Kirschbaum Super Smash Original (Honey) or Luxilon Big Banger Original.

So you have to go by what's available to you where you live, and they don't have Gosen?

You also say you don't play much?

Then Wilson's Extreme Synthetic Gut should be fine.

A comment on your point about tension loss. This relates to how quickly the string loses tension over time, which is in addition to the loss of tension to any physical breakdown<fraying> of the string. This breakdown is a contrbuting factor in why so many multis feel like they can't hold tension.

The truth is that i play every morning from 7:00 to 8:30(school) but most of the time it is not long rallies or such, but working on sometimes groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc. monday-friday. weekends is sometimes when i get the chance, being a junior in high school, i have tons of homework.

ooops:mrgreen:
Then I think the BB Original is good for you, since you won't have any arm injuries anytime soon.

Its very very hard to go past cyberflash 1.25 in this frame, needs to be up around 60lbs.
