Have any of you found another Head grommet kit that is compatible with the PT 280 (Blue throat. It's part of the Trisys System. Preferably with the real bumper guard but not particular. Thanks Chip

Head's 630 sq. cm, 18x20 frames have been consistent through the years, with only the width varying slightly (usually 21 or 22 mm). Pro Tour 280, Radical Tour, Tour Extra Long, Ti Radical, Ti Pro Tour, Ti Classic, iRadical, iPrestige (CAP and regular), all have interchangeable grommet/bumper sets, as long as the head size is the same (630 sq. cm.). I don't know about the LiquidMetal Prestige (CAP) and LM Radical (regular grommet/bumper) - but they seem to be consistent with the others in both head size and string pattern, so I assume they would fit the Pro Tour 280, as well.

The i.Prestige MP XL are a perfect fit, although TW is out of stock.

I am looking for the NON CAP grommet for the PT280.

Is the i.Prestige MP XL the NON CAP one?

LM Radical 630/ i.Radical 630 groomets will fit good. Use a heat gun or heat the groomet up with steam to make them soft and easier to install. Also use an awl and prefarably do it right before you string the racket.

Yes they are. Here is the traditional grommets for the i.Prestige MP XL that will fit the Pro Tour 280 perfectly.

They were supposed to be back in stock April 29, 2008 and that has come and gone with no update.
