Our league uses the Comer tiebreak procedure, but I can't find a description of it anywhere.
Can anyone help me out?

It's the Coman tiebreak... probably why you weren't having any luck finding it :p

Its the "Comen" tiebreak. The server (player A) serves one point. Then, you switch ends. Player B now serves two points. Player A serves two points. Then you switch ends. ....and on and on....(every time player A is done serving, you switch sides, basically every 4 points).
This helps in doubles because it keeps the server on the same end every time, whereas the previous tiebreak procedure did not.
In singles, its just a pain in the butt, because you feel like you spend most of the match walking back and forth....hahah.

Interesting. I've read about this, but didn't know it had been put into use anywhere.
Looks good to me - leaves the "structure" of the tiebreak alone, but eliminates the "got stuck on the bum side of the court for 6 points" problem.
play well,
Andrew
