my friend gave me his old racquet but its one grip size too big for me
is there a way to make it smaller, maybe a thinner replacement grip?

do what some pro's do: No replacement grip, just several overgrips.

i don't think so. You could shave it down, or some other advanced ways. but i would try the two overgrip method first. Pros do it because they like the feel better and it will also make it smaller. If you don't like it, try a different method, but i think the overgrip method is the easiest.

Ya I use two overgrips and it feels pretty nice. Dont worry about the bottom overgrip it'll stick by itself.

ok, now i feel like 4 1/2 was a better size than the 4 3/8
but i like the feel of the overgrip i got
is there a thin replacement grip i can use so that if i put one overgrip on it will feel like a 4 1/2
i know kind of weird sorry bout that

dont be afraid to shave it down. remember an equal amount of strokes per side. use sandpaper and a sandpaper block. try to be accurate as you can. measure your stick periodically until it reaches 4 3/8....good luck and have fun.

i am afraid to shave it down cause im really bad at that type of thing
ok i read other posts and it said that head replacement grips are thin
so if i put one of those on and an overgrip on, will it feel like the normal 4 1/2?

i read in another post that some racquets are hollow on the handle
