yeah i'll just start playing practise matches to get used to my racket then i'll start playing tournys ASAP. cheers for the advice though. BTW alot of my matches are against people i have never played before. some are ladder league matches and i have only been part of the club for around 4 months

Hah so true. In a tournament last saturday, i played firts seed in the first round who was an 8.1. I won the first set 4-0, was 2-1 up in the 2nd and 40-15 serving. Served 3 doubles and lost that set 5-3, then lost 3rd 10-5. All about the pressure.

Not many, maybe 2 or 3. Gonna start doing a lot more though. I think it's mainly from matchplay at Harrow, every match goes to the LTA.

There's no such thing unless your talking about a round-robin type thing.

Anyways I think you should cuz it's only a grade 5 which should give you a chance of maybe winning a couple matches and getting some experience at a low level.

yeah it isnt cheap the deposit is the price of the racket and if you dont like it they give you the money back.

Also Saunders the serves feel great 20 times better than my Airo cloud(i think its the head size that let me down with the airo cloud when serving) When serving with the K90 i feel like my serves are faster. groundies are good and the volleys are great aswell. i must say my forehand is really good with this racket and so is my slice back hand but i still need to ajust to it though.i'm hoping i play better tomorow in my first session of the year. where did you see it cheap???

Yea I guess but I'd say it's do-able. I've played 6h a day and it can be pretty tough with all the drills they put me through (Only did it for like a month or two). But when I see people saying "ahh that must be so tough" or similar I feel like saying "its a lot easier than people make it out to be" cuz that's how I feel

Well it comes down to money, if you can afford to go or not. Anyone can go if they have the money and are half decent.

Yea in all known/globalised academies they have some rich kids that see it as like summer camp. When I went to Sanchez there was this kid that was like russian-american and his parents just sent him there to get him away from them. He barely knew how to play tennis, thankfully he wasn't doing the same program as me.

Well it comes down to money, if you can afford to go or not. Anyone can go if they have the money and are half decent.

actualy the reason i left was coz, most of the people were undecent. Espacialy the owner! I would not recomend sutton to anyone. All of the good coaches has left. The best coach they have now is a guy that complains to u about everything.

My first tourny is on Feb the 8th. me and my friend are going its gonna be the first tourny for both of us. BTW i'm getting pretty good now.

Well, after watching other members videos, and seeing what other people have rated them, i honestly would say 3.5/4.0.

IIRC digital cameras don't have a video recording function. Just try and learn how to use the camcorder

well the one my dad has does have a recording function.its either that or my dads Nokia N95 which has a 5mp cam as well.

My dads digital camera has record function. The problem with 2mp is that you wont be able to actually see the ball.

Actually don't worry I looked you up on LTA and you're the same age as me. Sorry to say this but I very much doubt your a 5.0, that means you could get into a DI american college already. It says your an 8.2 which is not 5.0 standard at all, more like 4.0... I know you said your higher than your rating suggests, so if you don't mind what rating do you reckon you play at?
