Can't you choose your own racquet?

All racquets under 12oz don't feel right to me, but LM Rad MP leaded up is really nice.

What's wrong with you? You've asked the same question in three differnet threads!

Don't take it to heart, :) i would suggest for what you have described, the Babolat Pure Drive or Aero pro Drive. Kids your age in my area use these very well.

agreed. i have my lm radical leaded up to around 12 oz, but the stock version plays well too.

Wilson nBlade, Head i.Radical are two that come to mind. I also like Babolat Pure/Aeropro Drives even though they are quite a bit more powerful then racquets i normally use.

I second the Pure Storm. The reason is that it's one of the few middle weight frames I've tried that's not over powered. Very good control for a light weight frame. Better than a lot of 12oz. frames I've tried.

Kevo,
I started a Storm thread a while ago and your posts made me just order one ot try it. I played last night with it and could not have played much better. It's one of those frames that has the control of a 12+ oz racket but has the pop since you can swing it so fast. I have never volleyed better. I thought the Aeropro control was the best volleying racket because of its stability, but I found the storm to be plenty stable and with the bit of flex, it was stellar. Thanks for all your comments.

Danman, glad you found it enjoyable. It seems the more I play the the storm the better I like it.

Wilson H Tour Mid. I love the even balance and light weight, you can really generate a lot racquet speed and it's highly maneuverable. The downside to low massed racquets though is they don't absorb shock very well.

babolat pure storm...

all in all, you have to demo or just go with one that looks good. what we like have nothing to do with what is good for you. so if u cant demo, pick one that looks good and go with it and hope you play into it.

Remember, son, one man's meat is another man's poison.

Lots of members here love the PC600 -- a great racket in it's own right -- but I happen not to favor it.

Lots of members here play Babolats -- a great brand -- but I happen not to like it.

First of all, what's the stick you're playing with and why would you want to change? This has a lot to do with your physical built and techniques too.

Try the new Magnetic tour by Fisher and you will really love how it play. Best string is to put a poly on it. Great racket just wondering why not much people is using it or maybe it is just new. Also very friendly on the arm.

Almost all brands have good frames in the 11-11.5oz category. I would demo a few of those and pick one. The ones people seem to like most are: i.Rad & LM Rad, M-Fil 300, nBlade, TTWarrior, AeroPro, Pure Drive.

In terms of real value-for-money, the M-Fil 300 is a really serious contender in this department. It is a highly understated racquet, has a good balance of power and control, and a great all court racquet.

Best of all, TW is now selling it at $79.95. I'm going to buy my 3rd racquet from them as a backup and for doing string comparisons.

The Head LM Instinct (not FXP) is a nice frame, with the flex of a player's racquet and a bit more pop. It's by no means a great frame, but a pretty good one in that 11.5 oz category.
