Hi, I finally put up two videos on youtube. I seriously need help with my second serve. I'm brushing the ball, and I think I'm going through as well, but it just won't go in. Out of the serves I taped, only a few went in. Most of them went long. It looks like a long of them went wide, but they were all long.
I don't know what it is I'm doing wrong, but it looks like I'm letting the ball drop too much. Do I need to burst to the ball more?
I really need a decent second serve that I can depend on. My second serve is really unreliable, and it doesn't go in as often as I wish.

thanks for filming it sideways, and also only filming your body, not also where your shots go. From that video, nobody can help you. You have to zoom out more, and maybe show us where your balls go.

stfu u can help if u know n e thing about serving...
if your going for a kick/topspin serve then...
thrust up in your jump more
you should hit the ball at maximum height possible... im not saying jump as high as you can but thrust up then hit it at maximum extent... atm your hitting the ball to far down
need to brush over it more... ur mostly going round the ball imparting slice... a top spin serve you brush over at around 12 oclock for a kick serve its about 1 oclock
once you get that sorta going stick your hip out more... your straight up and down at the moment leneing back a bit which automatically shoots your hip out it good
ball toss always needs to be left of your sholder at the very least other wise you need to jump right to impart any topspin so above the head is good
apart from that good luck... you could of done better with camera... also remeber you only miss the ones you dont hit... or something liek that... means dont try and push it or cup it in... practice hitting it. Always generate good racquet head speed.
good luck

Thanks so much. I'm playing in my first tournament in a few hours, so you've helped a lot. I know it wasn't filmed very well, but thanks for dealing with it.

Learn to hit kickserves from the ad side of the court first. It feels more natural from this side, then move to the deuce court.
