That is by far one of the most interesting things I've heard come from someone's mouth about the actual mechanics of swinging a racquet at a ball. He explains something that should really be common sense to anyone who has been hitting with any kind of topspin on their strokes for a while: You can hit through a ball in such a way as to direct it at a specific height over the net as much as you want, but if you don't lower your racquet enough, your ball will most likely go long due to the lack of topspin.

That is a good lesson from Vic, but i would never teach a Junior Federer's strokes, he has too many fundamently defiencies in the stroke like his forehand for instance, he comes across his body way to much, which is incredibly hard to master for amateurs...
