Does anyone know anything about this frame? I saw it on the web and thought it looked absolutely fascinating, and I wanted to know if anyone could tell me anything about it.

lol...i actually have one lying around in my room. pretty hard racket to play with since it's much stiffer than a woodie and really has no power at all.

The Slazenger Phantom was apparently discontinued shortly after it was released, because it tended to break - in the throat area I think it was.
There is some argument as to when it was released, Kuebler's book mentioning 1974 (which seems extraordinary) but a German tennis mag mentions it as newly released in 1978.
Does anyone have any further imformation about the release date?
