Matching racquet specs- quick question

I added 5 grams of lead to 3 and 9 and 7 grams of lead to the handle of each racquet, and I placed a tourna grip on each. One of them is 4 grams heavier than the other one. The heavier one is strung with a kevlar, syn gut hybrid, while the lighter one is strung with a multi- head rip control. Is the strings in the heavier one making it heavier, if not. Where should I apply the lead to the lighter racquet, so that each one has the same weight

It's always best to match a racket unstrung.

If you're not going to cut the strings out and still wanting to match them, I think you should try adjust-matching the SW & Balance instead.

Because a difference of 4 grams in the head (supposedly) will cause quite a big change in SW even if the racket has the same balance.
