View Full Version : 18x20 Patterns with good spin potential

I enjoy the feel of head rackets, i currently use an i.radical mp but am in the search for a racket in the head line that can generate more spin, and i know that most head rackets have an 18x20 pattern, any suggestions?
The LM Prestige series would probably float your boat. I use a MP and my drop shots are awesome, slices are real kickers when I need them to be. Good stuff.

I have played extensively with both the Radical and Prestige from every model range and I can say this. The spin potential of the Radical and Prestige is exactly the same. If you are having trouble generating spin you should try 17 guage string. Or maybe change to western grip.
I personly changed to the Wilson PS 6.0 95 from the i.Prestige MP. Besides for the fact that the PS had more flex the racquets played very similarly, plus the PS has a 16x18 string pattern which gives it a lot of spin.

You could try the dunlop 200g. It gives a decent amount of spin. I thought more than most other 18 by 20 patterns. OR, if you like the feel of head raquets try the LM fire, it has a 16 by 19 pattern.

yep, dunlop muscle weave 200G, or the new line of LM radical and prestige may be what you're looking for.

Try the Donnay Borg Pro.

can't go wrong with the pro tour 280, if you can find one.

LM Prestige with Luxilon TIMO 18 or Big Banger ACE 18 for spin. Not the most durable option, but durable enough in the 18x20 string pattern.
