The league will have doubles starting in the spring.
The true focus of the league is singles though.
The website has all the information there. Let me provide some informative links:
How does a season work?
The homepage has when leagues will be run in 07.
Any more questions? I'll be happy to answer them.

i think i am interested in playing singles in the spring....
what is the fee and how much does it cost to play...im assuming it is free if it is an outdoor public court.
and is this like a team league or whatever?
also i have a question on ntpr rating....as you know i m not rated...im just turned 19 this fall and juniors did not require ntpr rating. but i do play with 4.0 players and beat them regularly.... i played high school tennis...so what should i do?

Read the website, it tells you all of this:
On Rating, we allow players to self-rate themselves. After 3 matches, we could adjust their rating if they've might of over-shot or under-shot their ability.

Great to hear, the league does monitor the self-rate system. If a player isn't holding their weight or is dominating opponents we move them mid-season if needed. After the first season, we take over the players rating and move them in the division that fits closest to their record/skill rating.

Thanks for the info! I like having alternatives to the USTA (tried one season and it sucked) so will definitely check this out.
