Was there a racquet in the ProStaff 6.1 line between whats now known as the ProStaff 6.1 Classic and the Hyper ProStaff 6.1?

I was discussing this with someone today, and I recall there being quite a long time between these racquets yet I can't remember a model that came out in the series between the two.

In terms of release dates, I believe there was the Hyper Pro Staff 5.0 that was in between the PSC6.1 and HPS6.1.

I meant racquets just in the 6.1 line.

i don't think so. the ps 6.1 (ps classic when it first came out?) was around for a long time until the hps 6.1 came out. same goes for the prestige. a long time between prestige classic/600/tour and i.prestige. and as far as racquets getting replaced these days, i think there was actually a relatively long time between the hps 6.1 and the nsix-one, too.

If it's within the 6.1 line, then PSC6.1 and it's variants (PSC6.1 Tour, PSC6.1 Stretch) were first then the HPS6.1 came out. The reason why I included the HPS5.0 was because I felt it was somewhat a 6.1 replacement from almost the same family (along with the PS4.2).

OT: Did Thomas Martinez ever do a history on the 6.1? He'd be a good resource on certain racquets.

Thomas, if you are reading this and have the time and the knowledge, I would love to hear it.

My take: you don't necessarily count models with the same mold, then you'd also count the nPS, 4.2 and 7.1 (?) into the 6.1 family.

Wasnt there a non hyper prostaff 5.0 or 5.1 also. A very stiff racquet just like the hyper prostaff 5.0
I think it was called prostaff 5.1 stretch. Greyish racquet and stiff as hell.
