Differences in Wilson Ncode 90's

Just purchased a couple of ncode 90's and was wondering if I picked up a newer, older, or possibly fake Ncode 90.

The racquet with the White Grip is mine.

First Picture. I noticed that the "W" at the throat was a different color. My "W" in black surrounded by silver, and the other, a red "W" surrounded by black.

I also noticed that the specs inside the racquet were different colors. Mine being in black, and the other in silver. Another thing that also made me a little curious was the specs. They have matching specs, but mine lists the SI (Swing Index), and the one I purchased didn't. (It's all the way at the bottom)

One last thing that threw me off was the "WILSON" logo on the side of the racquet. Notice how both of the specs are on the same side, but the "Wilson" at the throat are opposite of each other, same as the sticker.

If you guys know anything about this and would like to inform me, that would be great. I just want to bring this up to the seller as soon as possible before it's too late.

Both of your racquets are real.

The one with the silver spec sticker and the black square with the red "W" at the top of the handle was made in 2004. The ones with the black spec sticker and the sliver square and black "W" were made in 2005 and 2006. Thus, the one you just got is an older version, and yours in a newer version. They are, however, identical in specs and how they play. The only differences are in the paintjobs and decals.

BTW, if you had done a search here you would have found the answer as this has been discussed many times before. :D

Yea, I got the same thing you did when I bought 2 ncode from somebody online.
I got a question for you though: is the color of the leather grip different from each other?
My newer racquet with the SILVER box, has a brighter orange leather grip.

yea, it's probably just the dye on the leather, mine tends to bleed a lot on my white wilson pro over grips

My two later tour 90's have brighter orange grips as well, i thought there was something wrong at first but then realised it was just a different production.

BTW, has anyone noticed the difference in the quality of the paint? My "2004" n6.1 90 seems to be losing the silver nCode logo and letter at 3 & 9 o'clock very fast. Is it any different with the later make?

Yeah my 2004 models have chipped alot more than my newer 2. The decals have completly gone on mine at 3 and 9 and the wilson writing on the throat is coming off. The paint on the newer ones seems better.

Sayin that i have used them every day for a year and a half so they are bound to get damaged.

another thing: does your newer ncode feel heavier than the older production? Mine does. Other people have also noticed this.
