I am having a problem of having the string clamp on the tensioner being to tight and flattening my string when I am pulling the string. I am stringing polys now and running into this problem. Do any of you with experience with this machine have any suggestions on how to fix of alleviate this problem?

On the back of the tensioner their is a screw that you can adjust the clamping pressure of the string. I used to have to adjust it when I was string badminton rackets. Hope this helps...

I have tried that but it doesn't seem like the tension is lessening??? Thanks though I will try that again, hopefully it works.

It's weird that I've never had this problem with this stringer. I actually have no clue as to what you should do???
