Just for the sake of making it less expensive to change strings:
Ashaway Dynamite or Isospeed Pro Mains
with
Ashaway Monogut or Gossen Crosses
by stiffness & poly (spin) - anyone tried these combinations?

Prince Polygut with a decent syn gut is inexpensive and a softer poly.

Hi,
How about Ashaway Monogut (Mains) and Gosen Crosses?

I like that combination too.
These hybrids are ridiculously less expensive than the "Big Name" brands but have equal or better performance.
The fact that monogut holds it's own against luxilon's & sppp at a third or less of the cost is phenomenal.
I just tried the iso speed professional about a month+ ago - I like it better than the biophase.
Using the RSI's string selection guideline on a excel spreadsheet opened my eyes to some very good strings.
BTW- Ashaway actually sent samples (no charge) of their dynamite wb & monogut. All I did was ask politely on an email if I could have a sample.
