Since Albert Lee has done his part to elevate the Jennings (JScale) UltraSport 50 to something like "cult" status (thank you, Albert), I have been interested in finding one. However, everywhere I looked I found them to be either out of stock or in a seemingly discontinued status. One vendor told even me that they "would certainly miss them, since they have been discontinued."

However...after contacting the people at JScale, I think I now have a source for the UltraSport 50.

Has anyone out there besides me been wanting to find one of these scales?

Yeah, prior to two days ago, I had checked with every one of those vendors and even though they carry JScale products, none of the US vendors had the UltraSport 50 available. I think the Canadian vendor had them but would not ship outside Canada.

JScale sales contacted me and said they had just received a new shipment and that the vendor on their list to watch was saveonscales.com (not what I'd necessarily call an alternate, but one of the vendors they actually list).

But I didn't want to say that any of those vendors had them in stock until I confirmed it, and finally saveonscales.com has them ready to ship. As to the other vendors on the list, they might be receiving them now, too. But none had them available before roughly 12/19/06 as JScale apparently had none in stock to supply their vendors. At least, that's the story I've pieced together from what I've gotten from the vendors and JScale sales.
