Lead tape

Hi, I'm thinking about experimenting with lead tape but and putting them in various places to see what I like... I was wondering if it will leave any sticky residue when taken off.

Also does putting tape at the throat lower the sweet spot?

I have a LM radical MP and I'm trying to get it to feel a little closer to the tour version of the LM radical or the I.prestige. (maybe not quite as heavy.

There will be some sticky residue leftover but it is easily removed by rubbing your fingers over it for a few seconds.

Where on the handle would be best to put lead tape?
