I know these beasts exist, but does anybody use them, especially the 19 gauge strings? If so, what tension, brand, racket, NTRP, durability etc...I would be REALLY surprised if people used 19 gauge strings without a hybrid.

I use pacific force 18 and psgd 18 (gold colour). The poly I use at 66 lbs on my prostaff - I haven't played with it in months. PSGD 18 I regularly use on my crosses of the dnx 10 mp at 55 lbs. I am not a string breaker, so its not a problem.

i once was using the TNT Fusion Plus 19. Mains were TNT fusion 19, crossed w/TNT RX 17. B/c the fusion was textured it was measure to be 1.23mm instead of 1.08mm like on what TW posts. It was a durable string for a 19g, lots of bite but it was a bit stiff for me unless you string it at <55lbs.

I was going to ask about the TNT Fusion. I've heard people say that it gets insane spin. Is this true?

Ashaway kevlar 18 M at 48 and SPPP 1.18 X at 52 in an 18X20. Nice spin, movement of the poly on the mains but easy to replace as the poly glides on the kevlar. I will see for durability as I have only 3-4 hours on this setup. I also have Kirshbaum P2 (1.20) in another racquet and it feels very nice also; I still hit and altenate between these two to see which one I prefer on the long run.

It does get good bite on the ball. as for "insane" spin, you'll still need rafa's 4hand to produce massive top spin.

my friend uses a 20g. What he does, is he takes a 19g and squeezes it and it actually works.
