actually jura, i believe it is a new kneissel stick or at least a new pj.

i'm pretty sure its a new stick from kneissl because its not even on their site yet so give it some time, i'm sure it'll surface. try searching melzer on getty images and you'll see a few more pics of the racquet from his match vs. guccione but the aren't very clear.

and don't be so hard on jura, he helps out a lot on these boards and contributes a lot of very useful information. without him, a lot of the knowledge of pro's actual racquets, specs, etc. wouldn't be available. he's a very good poster with a lot of contributions.

In fact it's a new paint. We had it for testing in August/September. It's the same stick but they added some kind of "stabilizers" at the inner side of the heart and head. Forgot how they call it. But I don't think that Melzer uses this new version. Has a more dampened feeling but the feedback is less. Strange racket - a few people love it, all others hate it, nothing between.

whatever it is, he's sure on fire with it. he just destroyed berdych 6-2, 6-4 in one hour.
