everyone in here who is below 18 years of age does not have a NTRP rating.

what you do have is a section, possibly a nation with their respective rankings.

For the guy who said his coach told you were 4.0 to 5.0, there is such a humongous difference between the two that i cant help but unacreddit your words.

btw, are all you 13 year old 4.0 + juniors in here the same 6'2 and growing juniors from the other thread? lol

We aren't normal people.

well he is not so hard once his second serve comes around it is about a 75-80 mph extreme top spin serve so i hit it back he runs me off of the court i hit a lob over his head when he comes to net he goes back is very slow then it is like any other normal point all i have to do is make him run, he is slow and semi-out of shape. on my serve it was slice down the middle in ad court and slice out wide in deuce court. he is a 5'11" 215 lb. man he is a doubles player and claims that i won becaus it was singles. the match score was 6-7, 7-5, 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 so i am not saying it was easy at all i was playing as good as i could

ok, but I am talking NTRP, and juniors just dont have one in america, and I imagine that if you take an English rating and supposedly convert it to an NTRP, then that has so many innacuracies in it that its just undoable.

not easy to cross systems like that. so the only thing that would enable you to compare yourself to other juniors in the world would be an ITF juniors rank, in which case you should be pretty darn good.

People usually over rate themselves, but under rate others. So, find out what people think of you and that is probably a safe number.

Even better would be the rating of people who you know do not like you, and you do not like them. If you could find that out, that would probably be an even safer bet.

28 yr old 4.5 (don't believe just check the computer ratings).

I would also say most 13-14 yr olds would be in the 4.0 range due to size and they can be over-powered with the exception of the bigger kids in the age group. At 15+ many of the Top 200-300 in national rankings probably 4.5 plus. If your Top 25 D1 Team material then you would be 5.5 plus.

This is true. The 10-15 year olds that try to estimate usually inflate their abilities to suit the criteria of the levels, and they usually just put 4.5 or 5.0 just to show off. Very few 12-15 year olds would even be near any rating of 5.0.

My matches against my dad often ends in 6-3, 6-4 or 6-4, 7-5 scores. But if I'm sloppy enough, and he takes away a set, I have to destroy him. The law of the jungle, baby! A 6-3, 6-7, 6-0 is not out of the question... but my dad is a really good tennis player :p

Probably true. So ask them if they have ever played a tourney at that level? lol idk, a lot of them don't have rankings but could still take down players that play champs. I remember I didn't play my first competive tourney until I was like 11 or 12. But I play with kids from my home town that don't play tourneys and could easily beat A's and play hard against champs.

16-18

And a UK 5.1 which is hmm.. not sure actually.. 4.5 ish

i was a 6.2 in the uk and am now gonna start doing itf events and im 15. A 5.1 in uk is way above the standard of the ntrp 4.5s here in my opinion.
