Headlights? Aw, that's just a euphemism for a fine woman's breasts, that's all.
Kidding. On a balance board, each eighth of an inch away from a frame's fulcrum (either in the head-heavy or head light direction) represents one 'point'. Most MRTs, I think prefer to use mm.

Do some Google searches - betting there are some very good technical analyses out there.

Oh.
I was under the impression that "head light" was just today's groovy term for what we used to call an "air head".

OMG Deuce! I actually laughed out loud at this pearl. You make yourself sound like you're older than Moses in your posts sometimes. ;)

BALANCE: Static measure of weight distribution in a racquet and measured from the butt end in inches and/or centimeters. Commonly referenced in "points" head light or head heavy - each "point" represents 1/8 inch. Generally speaking, heavier racquets are head light to maintain maneuverability, while most of today's super-light racquets are head heavy to supply enough mass (which translates into power) to the area of the frame where the ball is being contacted. A 27 inch racquet with a balance point of 12-1/2 inches is 1 inch, or 8 points head light (even balance would be 13-1/2 inches). A 28 inch racquet with a balance point of 15 inches is 1 inch (or 8 points) head heavy. Static balance ultimately affects swingweight (see below), which is a dynamic measure of racquet maneuverability.

head liger means that the head i lighter than the handle, most of the heavier racquets you will find are head light, take roger federers for example

Most of the weigh is in the handle half of the racquet and 1 pt is 1/6 of an inch I think.
