I was a Greek for one term during my freshman year. Couldn't stand the "brothers" and their smugness, so I told them to shove it and went independent.

In American colleges, we have organizations called fraternities and sororities, whose names are usually 3 Greek characters, such as Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Guys and girls who are members in these clubs are referred to as "Greek". Put some windex on it.
