yeah your opponent will try to attack the net but his approach shots arent good. and also, the clay courts suck, there are holes all over them lol:)

He isn't awful, but he really needs to work on his backhand and return of serve. And yes, they have possibly the worst clay courts I have ever seen.

yeah his backhand is a liability. im just kinda mad that i didnt sign up for this, because the draw looks sooooo easy. although i must say my tournament results are not thte best:oops: anyway if you make it to tommorow i might see you as i might have a ladder match.

I lost, 2-6, 1-6. The match was alot closer than the score indicates though. Lots of deuces. It was kinda bad(on my part), I was serving really well and all he could do was tap it over but i missed like a total of 7 overheads, and I was just having trouble finishing >.>

Haha oh well, I suck against people who are really consistent off both sides and still hit the ball well.

ugh, another OK tournament. played a good 1st round and an OK 2nd round, but today was simply awful. lost the first 61 in about 30 minutes, then was up 2-1 with 2 break points and wound up losing 62. really long 1 and 2 though, nearly 1 1/2 hrs. hopefully i can play better at the level 4

yea, but i have a tough enough season anyway, and my ranking is already good enough to get me into sectionals, so if i dont play tournies it wont be the end of the world for me. i have to play powers, crampton, terenzio, wong, and hirschberg in high school ball. not to mention the potential kahan at states....

Terenzio and Powers are playing high school tennis this year? That should be fun to watch. What about Wayne Harrell and Nolan Paige? I assume Paige goes to Greens Farms, but I don't know for sure, and I think Harrell goes to a public school that doesn't have a team.

oh t1000 you played my high school's #3. his a pretty good player him and i are playing doubles at sectionals.

new canaan high won class L by i think 9 pts, so we pretty much dominated. we maxed out in doubles, all 3 of our teams made it to the semis, and all of our singles won a round, our #2 singles made it to the quarters, and i made it to the semis.

same thing went for state opens. both of our doubles teams made it to the doubles, and i made it to the semis.

yea he was to good for me today. my backs been hurting all season and that first match didnt help. had to come back from a set and 3-0 down to win that one. He kept running me and i just broke down. i saw you got dante in the 2nd round. nice job in states for winning. we got third behind greenwich and staples. our doubles team won but I think you heard about the chest bump

tommy and jason won LL doubles against a Chesire team and went to do a chest bump. I wasn't there but I heard jason was hit a little to hard and hurt his foot or ankle and they couldn't play opens

hes diecent. when i played him i played really bad and it was at bloomfield clay, which is the crappiest stuff on the planet. he is fairly agressive, and a diecent player but you should beat him

nope, sectional tournaments only give you points for that section, and because you arent from new england, you wouldnt get a new england ranking. same thing would happen if i were to play an eastern tournament- i live in new england, i wouldnt recieve an eastern ranking because i dont live there

hey, guys I am from MD. Are there any other juniors from MD. I don't play tournaments but I hit with people who play tournies and I am just as good as some of them. My parents don't really care for tennis and don't support me financially. By the way I am 15 and 4.0. This whole summer I havent played any tennis because there is nobody to hit with, for the exception of about 6 days.
