well no one response in the former player forum, let's try my luck here

reason people always refer to 2002 RG Champ A.Costa because there's another Costa around, namely Carlos Costa

I remember he's the second best player on clay behind Courier in 1992, reaching the Rome final and beating a prime Buregra on clay.

He was also the last player who actively use a Rossignal, though Wilander did come back from semi-retirement in 1994 for a short while

Can someone tell me more about C.Costa?

He had a back-injury, that's why he had to stop I seem to remember. He also had a very nice one-handed backhand. Very good player, had some succes for a short period I think, before the back injury came.

Solid dirtballer.

Beyond that, what do you mean, "tell me about?"

The first sentence contains everything you could possibly ever want to know about him. As with 99% of all other claycourt specialists, ever, you now know:

- Everything about his strengths and weaknesses as a tennis player
- His complete strategy for playing a tennis match, no matter the surface or opponent
- His style of groundstroke
- His level of fitness
- His hair color
- His native language
- etc.

In fact, he's the agent of not just Nalby, but also Nadal and Feliciano Lopez (as well as others I'm sure).
