Can anybody give me some tips on how to get back into tennis. I didn't quit, but I just haven't played in two months because of the temperauture and it was getting expensive. Fitness is not an issue. I've been in the gym everyday since I stopped playing. I'm a sophmore in highschool and I start playing again monday. Any tips?

I think, you should start slowly at the beginning to get all the shot mechanisms right and be comfortable on the court. Be patient knowing that you haven't played for 2 months, so it is fine if you make some simple mistakes. Only after you got back your basic techniques will you start to be aggressive again.
It doesn't take much time to get back to your form. And sometimes you discover something new and actually improve after a long layoff.

Go play! 2 months is very little indeed, many people come back after years and years....
Warm-up properly, don't play for hours on end the first time, expect to be sore the next day, don't expect to play as well as you did 2 months ago. You'll be fine - and back where you were in a week or two.

Thanks.. I said before that I've been in the gym everyday since I played. Since then, I've gotten stronger. How will that affect my game and should I expect to play differently, maybe by hitting more balls long or something like that? How quick do you think I'll get back into it if I play for 2 hours a day? (the length of practice)
