Well, Babolat does have to pay Roddick his multi-million dollar salary somehow.

Wait a while. They'll come down. While you wait, you can pick up some Barricade 4's for 90 bucks.

Don't be surprised. When I bought the Air Tech Challenge in Neon Lime and Green back when they first came out, they were $110.

Just look at as price per ounce. Sure they're expensive, but they also weigh a ton so you're getting a lot of shoe for your money! LOL

Those things are jokes at nearly 17oz per pair.

Indeed, and as only Roddick fanboys will buy it, they have to crank up the price in order to compensate for lack of sales. Inversely proportional, so to speak.

yeah I am with you. I am still using BIIIs ($39) and BIIs ($42). I still have some Diadora Axelerates ($29), Air Resolves and Fila shoes for $39 and under unopened in the closest.

Some people have to have the latest shoe or racquet or shirt or bag and will pay whatever the price is. I never pay more than $70.00 for any tennis shoe since I wait until their prices are reduced due to the introduction of newer models. I always have very good quality tennis shoes when I play. I just happen to be two or three models behind the lastest offerings.
