which shoe is better? I like the look of the 4. But which does the weight of the 4 really make that big of a difference? cause if your in the moment, will you really think about the weight? and no one I know uses the barricade 2 so what is it like?(feel, fit, stability etc.)?

Hey, I have been using the barricade 2 for the last 2 seasons. They worn out and guess what, I recently purchased a new pair of the same barricase II but different color. They fit my feet perfectly and I would not like any other shoe. I have not tried the barricade IV though. Weight should not be a problem.

Have you tried the 3? I have tried the 2 and 3, I liked the 3's better though. Need to try IV when prices come down :)

If you wear out shoes, I'd go with the IV's... they have the warranty. Despite the steep inital cost, in the long run they'll be cheaper.

If you don't wear out shoes, I'd go with the 2's.

The III is the only one I'll wear.

But you get two pairs for price of one, minus shipping, because of outsole guarantee...;)

i've had II and IV. i bought my second pair of IVs the other day. i absolutely HATED the IIs. the weight isn't noticeable once you start playing. IVs are just higher quality. more comfortable (doesn't feel like your foot is in a rock) and the IIs have this weird lining on the tongue that used to cut into my foot and i HATED it!

I've talked to a couple of pro shop owners that sell shoes and they've both told me that the II's are by far their most popular shoe.

The II's are ugly. The III's, especially the black and white ones are nice looking. The IV's aren't bad looking.

I've had them both...I like the II's much better, they just fit my foot better than the III.

honestly, i care very little about the design, if its a great shoe i'll stick with it
besides, you can always get them in all white

Ya, altho the III's with too much black do suck a lot. I might wear II's over them.

These are the bad ones:

Oh.

Well, there are plenty of high quality shoes that look good as well, so it's not much of an issue.

I've never used the II, but compared to basketball/running shoes, the IV slowed my lateral speed down. This might be b/c I only play about once every two or three months.

Yeah I read the reviews and about how it's so durable you could, unless you're leet, use it forever. So I bought it thinking it was the best ever.

having used both i prefer the IV's, to me they are as comfortable as the II and they look nicer.

Did you feel like it slowed you down just a bit the first time you played in them? If so, how long did it take for your legs to get used to them?
