If the BIV's "broke" in only a week for you then may I suggest trying some military standard issue army boots? LOL

Can you be more specific, how did you break the shoe?!

i know that you guys are gonna say that its bad lol.. but sliding on hard court . i cant help it it just happens naturally if i run for a ball. i mean i had the shoes for a week but they broke in the matter of half an hour. i dont know what i should do... today in my tournament i slid on hard court which not only made the whole bigger but broke my sock. with my sock broken, i kept sliding, and i started bleeding out of my foot lol i just need something that will last

i do realize but theres nothing i can do about it. whenever i used to hear about ppl sliding on hard court i thought "wow why would you do that?" but i was never able to do it... but now that i actually CAN do it i cant help it.. it just happens when i run and stop

if you have the barricades then you have a 6 month warranty. Return it, get a new pair, see how those go.

well if i return it i get a new pair which breaks in another week so it doesnt really help me that much

well, you know, u could get another pair and say, give it to the TT member that thought of that idea :D

i thiink you should try out the II's, they have decent durability. However, the main problem lies in the sliding. lol this sounds wierd but whenever you practice, practice not sliding, lol it seems stupid but it might save you some serious cash. DOnt try it the matches at first though because its not what you are used to.

i try but im a clay courter so once i step on any type of court sliding is just natural... i gess what im asking is that are there any shoes that wont break so quickly for me? if not, is there anything (shoe glue, etc.) that i should try to put on the shoe so that it doesnt cause me any more injury?

It actually sounds like a foot work issue to me. I know that when I have to run hard for a ball and then stop suddenly upon getting to the ball I will slide a bit on hard courts as well. However when I take smaller steps and have good footwork even running hard then I am able to stop and not slide. I would suggest practicing taking smaller steps getting to your shots and this will help eliminate the slide, + you will be in better position to hit your shot. Just my $.02.

I wore Barricade 3's and they lasted me at least 6 months before I wore a hole into the front toe portion. Before I bought the B3's, I had regular running shoes and burned those out in 2 weeks. Now I have Barricade 4's and I'm pretty amazed at how you can break'em so easily..
Can you get your hands on some adamantium? I hear if you coat your shoes with that stuff, they might last a bit longer

Play On Clay, Or Just Play Barefoot And Youll Learn A Lesson. Or Maybe Your Feet Are Fat? Wearing Boots Might Work Too.

I slide in the BIV's and there is no issue for me, you just most probably got a faulty pair. Send them back and try them again, they are great shoes.
