Our club is preparing for an invitational tournament this summer and I'm looking for a Windows-based tennis tournament software program that will help in the overall management of the event? Any ideas?

If it is an official USTA tournament, they usually provide you the software.

it doesn't have to look pretty, it just has to function well, which it does

usta does not function as well as drawsheet. the underlying paradigm behind the drawsheet app is far superior. USTA works but is a "contraption" compared to drawsheet.u have to use drawsheet for a while to know what im talking about.
once u get the hang of it...ull never look back.

being pretty or not has nothing to do with software design.

i use drawsheet.very good.best out there in my opinion.the help is limited but
the app is intuitive and easy to get the hang of.very versatile.i can upload a set of events and then publish the entry link and have my players signup.after a month or so, i download all my entries and can have the draws and players times/schedules back up on the net in about 30 mins.very simple to use.but very powerful at the same time.at 100 eur per year u cant go wrong.

i havent used usta's sw but i was using a dutch site, and its just not as good or easy to use (plus more expensive).with drawsheet i can generate a result file and then "suck" back into the app a number of result files from a number of previous tournaments.I then can have all my players results going way back easily at hand.all in all a serious app, which hits the nail on the head.

i believe they are running a free trial at the moment, so see for yourself.

I use a lot this site for News, but I think it is more about social network/competitions.

Good luck!
