Just noticed that TW no longer has the Tour 10 V-E Mid available for sale.

Sad day.

The passing of a great racquet.

Sad day indeed. I'm a big Völkl fan. Too bad they're not as popular as the other brands. I haven't seen anyone uses it in my town.

glad i got mine before they ran out. i think u have to be an advanced hitter with elbow problems before u can appreciate the racquet.

I think I'm very fortunate then. I started tennis last year. I didn't know what racquet to buy so I went online to do some research. I was a huge fan of Boris Becker and I found out that now he owns/uses Volkl so I bought one. It was the Quantum Tour 10 MP. I've never had any tiny bit of pain in my elbow since day one. I even wonder how the tennis elbow feels like sometimes. ;)

is the power managable and control decent with a soft multi (Livewire) at 54 lb. only

mine is a 2nd hand, strung with PSGD at around 57/55. very stiff with the palm test. but good control when playing

just wonder what tension should i use when the string break...

I like this racquet strung in the higher range, but the power does drop off dramatically as you increase tension...

I've played around with strings and tension. I like a quality multi right at mid-tension (55 lbs.). My current favorite is Yonex 850 Pro Spin.

Yes, I find it to be so too. I've used Dunlop MaxComfort 17 at 55 and it was really enjoyable.

Are you talking about the T10G1 Mid that I have? If so, mine is also 2nd hand. The seller told me he strung @ 58 about 3-4 months ago. So I figure it might drop to around 54. Anyhow, it's a bit powerful but still managable. I just need to put a little more spin on and the ball drops close to the line with no problem. I usually string all my Volkls at mid tension if I use 16 gauge string. If it's 17, I usually do it a little higher like 58. It works fine for me.

Sorry everyone for jumping off the topic. It's supposed to be about the T10VE Mid. I wonder how it plays like compare to the T10G1 though. I should've demoed it earlier. :(

I still have 3 with 1 being in my rotation of many PT630s (I just can't seem to put it down at times since it's strung with natural gut). I believe the next time I string this frame, it'll be a bit lower (58 lbs isn't too bad but a little more power couldn't hurt).

come to China for a visit, drop by in the Fragrant Harbour City, and we have still a couple of VE mid in pro-shops i guess

I also want to try, the shop owner said it is like your hand's extension. But i don't have extra $$$. less than US$100 BTW.

Fragrant harbour city?? Hong Kong or Shanghai?

Address?

So do you have the volkl T10 V-engine Midplus in 4 1/2 grip (L4) grip size??

Also are the racquets fakes or the real thing? Sorry about asking this but i have seen some strange posts about racquets coming out of some chinese stores. A bit like getiing a rolex for 1/5 of the price hehehhee

DO they send stuff overseas?
