Been playing in the bf2's for a few months and was really loving the them, particularly the slightly roomy toe-box as a lot of shoes have tended to rub my little toe in the past. But the other day after completing a match my right foot felt a bit odd and there was a strange squeeking coming from it. On futher inspection i found the air bubble had split.

Im looking at new shoes and im tempted to buy something different but with a similar fit/feel. However ive never heard anything bad about the bf's so i'm thinking maybe i just got unlucky and i should get another pair.
Anyone got any opinions on what i should get or had similar experiences with the bf's?

IT WAS IN!!!

I agree that the Adidas ClimaCool feather 2's would be a good fit. These were actually my previous shoes, and around a years ago I had the breathe free 2's and felt a similar feeling.

wierd. i lvoed the BF II's and I'm currently using the feather sand I hate them. I can't even stand to walk in them without my feet hurting.

A3 Accelerators.

Yeah, I was gonna say, the A3 Accelerators seem to be emulating the BFII's design. The Triple Break Pumps as well, but they're wider than either the Nike or the Adidas shoes.

For whatever it's worth, I switched from BF II's to Asics Enqvists. Not a similar fit and feel at all, but I love them and will stick with them.

have you tried other asics? how did the sizes run? i'm seeing that i need to go down to an 8.5 in shoes other than nike...bf2 and 3 i am a 9 and it seems that 8.5 works better for me in other brands even though TW says asics run true to size...anway...got a pair of gel challenger V at sports authority when i was up in atlanta and i think i'll like them...they were on sale for 50$...

I only tried the Enqvist.
As far as sizing goes, in BF's I was wearing a size 9 and went to a 8.5 in the Asics. One thing to note is that the Asics need a break in period.

i've about given up on nike...adidas barricade2 was ok but i think i should've gone down to a 8.5 in that too so its hard to judge if it really works for me or not...
