Yeah, I watched him lose in the XL open in Bermuda. It is a clay court event, so don't know how much we can look in to it. ( Americans and clay don't mix)He was playing good though, It was close, surprised he doesn't do better on hard court, he has the game.

I thought he would have broken through by now.

Me too. He got alot of talent, and seems like just one of the guys. I hope he does.

Not so current. That site hasn't been updated since September . . . of 2005!

How about those draws at the two USO's he's played. His first time out, 2004, he meets Roddick (defending that year?) in the first round. The year after, he meets Nadal in the round of 64.

Scoey had a wrist injury last year. Hopefully he's regained his strength and he can get back to where he was before that happened.

If you look through his highlight videos, he's pretty hard on himself. He's a solid ball striker though and pretty quick mover. Hopefully he can keep his head together to string together some victories at challenger events.

He's a solid player. By the way, does he play with Pure Control Standard?

I think that by being at over #300 now (best #222), he hasn't quite fulfilled on the promise shown some 2 years ago. Still young, but ...

He played at a futures tournament in south texas, where I'm from, and he lost in the Semis. I couldn't go but my brother did and he said he was quite good. I just don't know how we could expect him to hang with the pros when he can't win a small tournament such as this one.

edit: by the way...he beat D. Young in the quarterfinal and he lost to Westley Whitehouse in the Semis. Peter Polansky won the tournament.
