Well I have heard that pronation helps the speed of the serve but there was one BIG problem, I have no idea what pronation is. Can someone fill me in here :confused:

Pronation is like turning your arm so that your palm is facing the side fence.

Some pronation comes naturally if you serve sideways and with a continental grip so you don't really have to think about it.

In tennis sense, pronation and suppination describe forearm rotation.

If you turn a door knob counterclockwise, that's pronation. If you use a continential grip with the serve, you already do some pronation so that the racquet face hits the ball properly. Basically visualize making a "thumbs down" toward the end of your serve. That's pronation.
