I'm interested in string gauge and tension on your POG. I heard this racket has a nice pocket feel.

I'll be stringing mine at 60 next time I string it. My last string job was at 58?? if I remember correctly.

same here, sppp 17G/61, would drop to 60 next time
but I'm having 8 inch lead tape around 8-10, if you use stock one, I think you may reduce a few pounds in tension.

no need for 17 gauge, the pog is a spin machine already and i usually snap strings in about 3-4 hours, so i go with 16 gauge. 58 lbs has worked well for me, great combo of touch and power.

I went with 53 pounds on a Babolat Star Sensor machine. I have kevlar 16g on mains and 15L gut on the cross. Plays pretty well this way. Like someone said this racquet seems under powered which was what I hoped for. I love taking big swings at the ball. Its a lot of fun. I still need to tinker around with strings and tension.

Lambsscroll (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/member.php?u=3181), why is your n90 no longer your playing stick?

played POG mid for about 3 years steady.....I found 16 gauge bde rally gut was best for me usually at 57lb with string savers(savers stiffen it back up a bit)
I once broke strings on 3 frames w/i 15 minutes in a match.
I then switched to 16 gauge from 17 gauge and added the string savers.....they still played like a dream.
I play radicals now (tight string pattern) and haven't broken a string in play in 2 years.....so it was the open string pattern on the graphite originals not me....
POG mid a great stick.....but you gotta have at least a couple to get through a match.....
btw I also used lead tape, at 3 and 9 oclock.....opened up the sweet spot quite a bit and made the racquet a bit more stable on groundies.....

I changed my mind. I play great with both sticks.

I think its too early for me to say which racket suits me. I only had one day of hitting with the POG.

When I used the POG mid, it was strung with NXT Max 16 at 54 lbs.

65 lbs. with gamma syn gut 16. You can even use 15L since the pattern is so open.

When I was using 16 gauge string syn gut or multi, I'd string it up at 70. When I was using 17 gauge string syn gut or multi, I'd string it up at 68.
Different polys as M's and different syn guts/nylons as X.
28 kg. No string savers.
Plays great with lots of spin.
Breaks often by shearing in the top of the frame (m's).
