He gets lots of stick from lots of folks for 'choking.' Let's take a little time to congratulate him for completely dominating a tournament final!

Maybe after so many chokes he realized that he has to change his approach if he will have a future. Congratulations!

Despite the knocks on Mathieu for choking, based on what I've seen, I think the guy has a lot of heart and never gives up. Keep on rockin' P-H-M!

Mathieu has had some good results this year. He did well in Indian Wells & Miami and now he looks like he's playing some good tennis leading into the French Open.

He just beat Gonzalez too. Maybe he will finally move on to the next step. He has so much talent.
Good for Paulo... I would like to see him realize a lot of his potential.

I congratulate him for his tournament win. Now he can choke against a bigger opponent than Montanes and in a bigger event like Rome or the French Open. Granted, demolishing Montanes 6-1, 6-1 doesn't really give him a chance to choke.

Congrats to him, when he's playing well he's got some SOLID game. Anyone who doesn't believe me should watch his 4 setter vs. Nadal at RG

Another strong tournament for PHM, shame he had to retire with injury against Gasquet in the semis. Got a win over Monaco, a tough opponent on clay.
Get well soon!

I think every time they show any of his matches on TV he blows a 2 sets to 0 lead and loses in 5.
