Try to be less self-centered, lads. Not every racquet released is intended for YOUR use. A lighter racquet is not "crappy" but merely for a different part of the market.

if the specs dont fit me personally then i consider it a crappy racket, is that self centered? i will have to talk to my therapist about that one...

Is this for real? Does anyone have actual proof that prince is releasing such a racquet? Those speedport holes don't look right... doesn't look anything like the speedport red... the holes on the black are sticking out.

It's a very attractive racquet but the 03 racquets I've used (tour, red and white) don't feel or sound like real racquets. They are very stiff and they ping when you hit the ball. In addition, they lack any kind of feel.

I wish prince would spend more time developing good racquets (like the POG)and less time on marketing gimmicks.

i agree its a great paint job and wish they wouldve used it on more of a players frame. that doesnt make it a crappy racquet tho.....just makes it crappy for you

Cool, how are you liking the MP tensioner?

Cool, how are you liking the MP tensioner?

It works find and very quiet. The annoying thing is that it requires frequet calibration. At $225 it's a good thing to go electronic.

It looks nice, although I'm not sure if I could mount it on my Revo. :( Thank's for the info though. :D

Wondertoy,

In comparison to the O3 Tour: well, it's lighter and the beam is wider so it plays differently. My groundies were shorter although it has a higher power rating. It's probably in part because I have gut mains on my O3 Tour and weight at 3 and 9. It's less stable but it's good on volleys. For players who like a tweener type racquet, it's a good stick. Prince is sending me a Speedport Tour to demo.

Yes, straight beam, wider than the O3 Tour.

Are the specs given for unstrung? Swingweight under 300 seems rather low.

Hello,

I am very interested in the stiffness of the speedport black. Have you got any facts?

I am locking forward to your review.
