I'm playing with my k-90's, and I love 'em. That said, I just had a chance to trade one of my 4 k-90's for 3 rok's, and i took it. I have been intrigued but this frame, and I just wanted to give them a try. they are being sent out to me today.
anyone done a comparison between the k-90 and the rok? or anyone own both? I've read that the rok is flexy and low powered, plus it has a different tighter string pattern. the weight is also a factor.
im just wondering what to expect.

The ROK is very low powered and I found it very hard to get good topspin. Its one of Wilsons love or hate racquets...many people on these boards hate them while some people have had good success with the ROK. The ROK was kind of strange for wilson to bring out and was never really sold that well...it was wilsons copy of the prestige and I think the only 18*20 mid they have ever made. Here are some usefull links for the ROK:

I have both. The Rok with 12 grams of lead at 3 and 9 is much more easy to maneuver and get power from than the stock k90. I wouldn't think of adding weight to the k90 cuz it is a club as it is!
The Rok is more difficult getting hard topspin from. Kick serves with that racket blows. But the control is still amazing. But you gotta lead to the stick or it will feel like playing with a tree branch.
The k90 has amazing plow through but every shot needs early setup.

i donno i never much liked the Rok, too tight of a string pattern for me. It had all of the drawbacks of my current fav (ps 85) with none of its advantages.

ROK was a knock-off of the PC600. I much prefer the PC600.
