Just saw that they are out on TW...Why are they so much? 299 and 269? That seems outrageous. I dont even think when the K 95 came out it was close to 250...

Racquet pricing to some extent depends on the intended demographic. Racquets like these that are more favored by mostly older players can be priced high because older tennis players tend to often be affluent. (And some of them very much want to have the most expensive racquet.)

There's a couple that I see at the club regularly and they both use Wilson Triads. I recall looking at the prices of them when this couple started using them. About $250. In November, they were selling them for about $80.

This couple looked to be in their older 50s or in their 60s. Once you have your retirement funded, your house paid off, and kids education expenses paid off, you should have lots of unallocated income until you retire.

These high powered rackets that are designed for people who don't swing hard at the ball which the older folk often use tend to be higher priced. I have seen Head rackets upwards of $300 if I remember right.

K One is the "flagship" K Racquet (the flagship racquet is not the K Six One as some may think). It has all of the 4 K technologies. LOL.
