Is the clay in rome supposed to be the same as the one used in Roland Garros? I watched a couple of matches yesterday and it seems like it's faster. Does anybody else get that feeling?

I believe the general consensus is that Rome and Monte Carlo are both a bit faster than Paris, and that Hamburg is the slowest of all.

I think the general idea is MC is the closest to RG. Rome is faster than RG and Hamburg is much slower than RG.
Something like this:
Slow ----> Fast
Hamburg MC RG Rome
And typically winner of RG has won MC the same year.

Yes Rome seems much faster overall, which is no surprise considering how close Federer got to winning last year. This seems like the best tournament to end Nadal's streak at...
