USTA tournaments in NJ

Hey guys, are there any good tournaments held in NJ for a person(me) who just joined the USTA w/ no ranking whatsoever. How good are top 14 year olds? Thanks

which part of new jersey and which section are you from? eastern or middle states

Well, nj is middle states, and I live in Middlesex County

ahh but your wrong part of jersey the northern part is eastern

and so on

Well, its okay. I could still travel to one. We usually go there just for fun for trips, especially fishing. Any tournaments tho, for low levels? If you win, do you get points? (for age group)

These are good ones that get an excellent turn-out in Princeton. Use Tennis Link and search for tournaments in "Middle States" or "New Jersey"

uhm..No there are tournaments where you dont earn points.

Thanks. I might join the locaL. Again, what do you think a rating for a pretty good/developed 14 year old would be. I want to know where I stand, yet I don't even know my own. :-(

If you win a match in that USTA unranked tournament, you still get points right? Because USTA hosts it?
