Coria did.
And the point of this trolling thread is? Comparing a good (not the best) serve with one of the weakest? Loser.

A guy who has gone something like 280-15 the past three years and won virtually everything in sight (30 tournaments or so) goes through a four tournament drought and VOILA!-- he sucks, has a crappy serve, a lousy backhand and a fat girlfriend. How pathetic.

Fed's hold percentage with his lousy serve is among the best because he can serve with power, placement, spin and variety. His serve may not be like Roddick's, Lubicic's, or Ivo's, but it's better than Nadal's and most other top players'. And the slump will end before long. So will Nadal's streak on clay. They are both great players, and both human.

It's funny, I don't recall seeing such ridiculous anti- Nadal posts when he failed to win anything between the FO last year and Monte Carlo this year. Then again, I wasn't looking much. Nadal is a wonderful player. So is Fed. . Coria is a fine player who has had an injury. And there are many more out there who get better all the time, like Djokovic.

Grow up and get a life.

Did you guys see Federer serve yesterday? In the first set his first serve percentage was 33%, second serve points won was 23% and he won 1 out of 4 games on his serve!
I didn't know Coria had a shoulder surgery so I have to apologies for comparing his serve with Federer's.:D I mean he has a valid excuse.
It looks like Federer fans are not in the mood for jokes today.

I had two. And I still can serve just fine :D

It's not the surgery, it's the stance/grip change.

he hasn't been playing well lately. Slumps happen to everybody on this planet in a variety of forms. So what? Yes, Federer's serve percentage was low for a match. Who cares? The same happens for everyone from time to time. Get over it.

Fed was #3 on the tour in aces last year.

I don't know if I've ever seen Coria hit an ace.

Coria averaged 116 mph in histr first serve the first 3 months of 2005, when he actually had improved his serve. Of course, his 1st serve % dropped from a 67-70% he was averaging to a 45-48%

He was winning more points with his 1st serve, but he was playing his WAY MORE attackable 2nd serve more often... so it was kinda of a letdown, actually.

I have. A 199 km/h one last July.
If you're having problems serving doesn't mean you're incapable of hitting an ace!!!

Actually, he got, I think, 9 aces against Berdych on DC 2005. And one of the serves clocked 213 kmh. Damn fast, if I should say. I was impressed on how much his serve had improved after the Australian Open.
