Like Sampras and McEnroe, ever noticed? racket head sort of hanging downwards vertical, not horizontal to the court... Strange question i know... Sort of the opposite to Kafelnikov, understand? Samras had the leading elbow too on the backhand, i have sort of similar strokes, pros and cons? opinions?

I think it's fine to do if you can do it consistently.

You may add more side spin or get more mishits if you do it all the time, and I kind of feel Sampras and McEnroe did this because of their grips and how often they picked up low balls.

I think every has to be able to do it though, there will be that time you gotta hit that running low ball passing shot for the clean winner.

Yes it feels more natural to me, and better for my TE on backhands, but it is all clay for me now, hate the high bounce, but thats a different story...
