i think it was a tip in tennismag years ago.. I mean keep hands closer to eachother,as in Becker and Agassi pointing at the ball in a way on the forehand right before impact. Anyone?

my former coach made a contraption out of sweat wristbands and some rope and they basically looked like handcuffs.
i think its to help the player facilitate a full shoulder turn.

There is another solution to facilitate the shoulder turn and to learn to feel how much the shoulder rotation (coiling andf uncoiling) plays into the stroke.
The device is called the POWER GROOVE and you strap it around your body at the level of your lower biceps to pull in the elbows. You also get one of those bungi cords with the hooks and strap them around your body holding in the elbows.
When you pull the elbows in, you are then ready to hit the ball with just a shoulder turn.
