View Full Version : My backhand does not have the right amount of power/spin/lift

Hi

I use a two handed backhand. I often find that when i am playing, my backhand can often fall to pieces. A lot of the time, my backhands have too much topspin, and dip into the net with not enough height. But other times they are too flat and sail out or are too loopy with more power than spin, therefore making it go long.

I would like to know how to fix this please?
I played a match today and i lost it due to my backhand, my serves, forehands, volleys were great.

I had the same problem but my coach told me to simply bend my wrists downward more than I usually do. So instead, simply tilt your racket down more than you usually do when your getting ready to hit.

yea thats great advice what you do is dip your racket and that will give you enough topspin once you it the ball to make it over the net
