ive got 2 questions

1. Ive been having trouble hitting the ad serve flat to teh backhand, any advice

2. how come when they show on the spot shot where the pros have been serving the serve wide to the deuce is almost to teh service line. ive always been told to hit it short in the box, is it because the pros hit it so hard or what?

maybe they told you to hit a kick serve as wide and short as possible to get it off the court? seeing as keeping it short allows the ball to jump off the ground to its highest by the time it reaches the returner. generally it's best to push the flat serve deep in the box, as it the returner has less time to react to it as it comes off the ground.
