Well this has been my first year a full-timer at Bollettieri and it's my last day until September. Tomorrow I'm leaving with the academy to a tournament.
Boy, what an experience. I'll tell ya, I had no idea it was going to be this much fun. Only now do I realize what a blast it was, looking back on all that has happened. Living with eight other determined young athletes, all who are easygoing and fun to be around. My roommate in particular was quite a character, and made light of any situation, always finding a way to have fun and make others laugh. Seeing the people who I have been around for the last eight months just leave, most of whom I won't ever see again, is new to me.
They call it a tennis academy, but it's so much more.
