I doubt he'll have as much success making his comeback as Canas did, but I guess we'll see.

great!!

a juicer with 0 ranking points gets a wildcard to a $25,000+H challenger tournament a day after his ban was lifted.

he should be forced do do what every other 0 pointer does and enter the qualifiers for a futures tournament. but instead a drug cheat X2 is allowed a shortcut back to the main tour.

great work atp.

Let's get ready for comeback #2!

I can't imagine him getting to the final of RG again or getting into the top 10 but it would be great to see him in action again. I've missed him.

It's not the 1st time for him.
Good Luck :)

y did he get a wc?

he was a former top 10, so your question is pretty silly, no offense.

why should a 2 time drugs cheat get a WC?

Argentines love their juice!

Another Argentinian juicer makes his return. Terrific image for the mens game.

Not really, he was a drug cheat, he brought disgrace to the sport, so your reply to my question is pretty silly, no offence.

Didn't the tribunal or whomever conclude that it wasn't performance enhancing or something?

non taken. the real answer is that he would be bringing more quality tennis to the tourney, so more money to the whole organization.

Agreed, I love watching him.

I did too til i heard he juiced. I'll say this for tennis, it may not have the fanbase as other sports but many of my sports fan friends who know very little about tennis know that tennis is one of the cleanest sports in the biz. I'd like it to stay that way.

It's Official - Puerta is back from suspension!

Did he return his winnings because of the doping charges? OUCH!

I can't believe it, it is a disgrace for tennis and a proof that the ATP is corrupt.
Wasn't this guy suspended for 8 years at first? He has probably been putting himself full of steroids in the mean time and when he's back, he can beat Federer just like Canas can
.

Puerta is great to watch. His adrenaline & sugar-rush... and the way he explodes at the ball is something else! I also hope he tops his past performance. Maybe in 2008 he'll do what Canas did at this year's RG.
