and is it based on rankings or skill because some ok 18's players could probably beat (lol actually destroy) some of the good 12's players but based on rankings they arent as good

I've seen 14 year olds whoop the best of the best 16s. Just really depends.

It's impossible to tell who is the best based off rankings.

I've beaten players ranked way higher than I am consistently, many peopel consider me better than they are.

I've got a dismal ranking..actually no ranking, because my mother won't let me play...but I've gotten SOOOOOOOOOOO much better in the past week.

Uhh, I've been off from USTA for a while but I know there is no way in hell if you just won your first rounds at sectionals you are top 150 nation. But I could be wrong, I know the rules changed. And I have no idea where Cereal is, if you want to make your own junior TTW standings go for it, I think it's a awesome idea. It will get some competitive juices going.

I think the topic creator(s) are trying to ride the life of a tennis player as long as they can. Before they know it they'll be in the top 2000 barely making $200 a week, then they come and realize that they need to give up their pro dream and go to college or something.

Lol a guy I hit with about 3 years ago cracked the top 700, and he was the #4th in the nation for division 3 colleges. Yes div 3, not 2 or 1. At the age these guys are at, they can still do it if they put in the time.

Oh I didn't say it's IMPOSSIBLE, but the odds are against them at such extremes.
